Hello Everyone, Great Tournament Sunday!
Congratulations to Trevor and Phillip Blevins for shooting a 2 over par 74. Also congrats to Joshua and Mark Gillis for firing a 43 to capture the 8 & Under crown. Great playing guys!
The next Looney’s event is the Tour Championship at Little River. What a treat this will be!  Come join us on Sunday, August 29th.
The Tour Championship will come down to this last event. There are several teams that have a chance to win the points race.  See the Points Races here.

Hello Everyone,
 
On Tuesday March 30th , Precision Golf Junior Academy of Winston-Salem Director Steve Nixon will be doing a Learning day in Pinehurst.
 
We will leave from Meadowlands at 7am. We will practice the full swing,chip shots, pitch shots,bunker shots and putting on there wonderful practice facility for about 3 hours. Then we will eat lunch, then go play Pinehurst Course #4 or #6.   After play we will head back to Meadowlands G. C.
I can only take 12 people, so the first 12 to sign up will get to go. The cost will …

PGS Head Instructor Simon McGreal will begin his quest to qualify for the PGA Tour full-time through the annual PGA Tour Q-School.  Simon will begin his journey at Pinewild Country Club in Pinehurst, NC starting October 27th through October 31st.  The 1st Stage of Tour Q-School is 4 rounds with a limited number players from this location moving on to 2nd stage.

 Southern Pines, NC — This past Sunday marked the season ending championship for the J.P. Looney’s Parent Child Golf Tour at Talamore Golf Resort. The day was picture perfect as the best parent child combinations in North Carolina competed for the 2009 crown.
The overall winners on the day were Chase & Cecil Moore of Oak Valley GC who posted a 73 on the day pulling them to third place on the year in the 2009 Points Race.

Southern Pines NC — The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour was at Longleaf Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC this friday for their tenth event of the season.  The field featured overal 30 girls from North Carolina to Florida.  The Ellis Maples design was in great shape as firm and slick greens kept the field from red numbers, but still warranted some solid play.

Six-Time LPGA Tour Winner and Two-Time Solheim Cup Team Member, Donna Andrews, to Speak at Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour Function
The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour will play its season opener at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club this weekend with a full field of 63 players. Donna Andrews, successful LPGA player and well-known golf instructor, will be a featured speaker at a round table forum to be held on Saturday night from 7-8:30pm following the first round of play.

 We are excited to announce the 2009 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour!!!
Our philosphy in course selection is to choose courses which the girls will play either on a collegiate level or in statewide junior competition. We are excited to see collegiate mainstays Pine Needles, Furman & Wildwood Green on the Spring schedule.
This years Tour features some exciting additions at some of the premier courses in North & South Carolina. With over 100 players playing the Tour in 2008, we are excited to grow the Tour throughout the Southeast.
