Kirk sets the field ablaze with final round 67!
Greensboro, NC— The final round of the Precision Junior Girls Championship finished up yesterday at Bryan Park GC. The Championship marked the third and final major of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour determining official 2010 Order of Merit rankings and PKB Fall Invitational honors.

Greensboro, NC — PKB Order of Merit winner, Katherine Perry of Cary, NC , went wire to wire in route to winning the PKB Invitational at Grandover Resort & GC this weekend. Perry’s final round of 74 was good enough to best Katie Kirk of Charlotte, NC by 3 shots.

Precision Golf School’s girls had another strong showing in the state high school tournaments Monday and Tuesday. 
PGS Junior of the Year Katherine Perry won the 4-A state tournament with rounds of 73-71. Her two under par round at Foxfire C.C. was strong enough to lead her team Athen’s Drive to the state title.

Katie Kirk, Lori Beth Adams, and Karli Heimbecker all won their respective 1st round matches in the Western Jr. Girls Tournament.  Adams and Heimbecker have to play each other in the 2nd round.  Katie Kirk plays Sarah Jane Ababa from the Phiilipines.

Katie Kirk, Karli Heimbecker, and Lori Beth Adams all finished in the top 10 in the stroke play qualifying in the Western Junior Girls Tournament.  Katie shot 72-74 and finished 5th, Karli shot 70-77 and is tied for 6th, and Lori Beth shot 75-74 and finished tied for 10th.  All three qualified for the Championship Division of match play which begins tomorrow.

Karli Heimbecker, Katie Kirk, and Lori Beth Adams all started strong in the first round of the Western Junior Girls Tournament.  The 83rd Western Junior Girls tournament is held in Durham NC this year at Hope Valley CC.  There are two rounds of stroke play qualifying followed by the match play tournament.
Karli shot 70 and is in 2nd after day one.  Katie shot 72 which puts her in t4 right behind PKB champion, Allison Emrey.  Lori Beth shot 75 for a  t13 after the opening round.  The top 32 players advance to the …

Congratulations to Allison Emrey of Charlotte  who continued her rock solid play by shooting even par 72 on Course #5 in the final round of the North South Championship at Pinehurst.  Emrey, a multiple champion on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Tour, won by 2 shots over Precision student Katherine Perry and Collins Bradshaw.  Lori Beth Adams also had a very good tournament which she capped off by shooting 73 the final round .  Lori Beth finished 7th.  Lane Gaekler and Katie Kirk tied for 12th.

Allison Emrey has a one shot lead going into the final round at Pinehurst CC.  The girls played Course #8 the first day and Course #2 for the second round.  The final round will be played on Course #5.   Allison sits at 4 under after 36 holes.
Several Precision students are playing very well also.  Katherine Perry is 2 under and 2 shots back.  Katie Kirk is tied for 7th at 3 over, 1 shot ahead of Lori Beth Adams.  lane Gaekler is 9 over and tied for 13th.
