Greensboro, NC. – May, 2010 – Precision Golf School hires Kathleen Strandberg as Girls’ Golf Coordinator. Strandberg will be the program coordinator for LPGA/USGA Girls’ Golf of Greensboro and LPGA/USGA Girls’ Golf of Winston Salem. Strandberg will also serve as an assistant coordinator to the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour, the leading girls’ golf tour in the country.

I watched all 18 holes today of the final group which included Precision students Katherine Perry and Kathleen Strandberg. It was good to see how they handled the pressure of playing in the final group. Both young women played very well, but it was Katherine Perry who continued her hot streak by winning the NC Amateur Championship by 2 shots over Patty Moore.

Precision Golf Students Kathleen Strandberg and Katherine Perry shot one under 71’s at Wilson Country Club today. Kathleen will be a senior at NC State and Katherine will be a senior at Athens Drive High School in Cary. Katherine is coming off her win at the sectional qualifying for the U. S Open. The tournament had to be shortened to 36 holes because of rain on Tuesday. The tournament concludes tomorrow.
