Lexington, NC - July 12, 2010 - Precision Golf Students, Katherine Perry and Taelor Rubin qualified for the US Women’s Amateur Championships this past Monday. Perry, a student of Robert Linville, shot a 68 to finish 1st in the qualifier. Rubin, a PGS student, placed 3rd in the qualifying to claim a spot in the US Women’s Amateur Championship after shooting a 72.
Perry and Rubin are both participants in the Bell division of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour. Perry is currently ranked 4th on the Peggy Kirk Bell Tour Order of Merit …

Salisbury, NC - The final round of the PKB Girls Golf Tour Open at Salisbury was rained out on Monday.
Therefore, day two leader Sara Bae of Cary, NC, took home the major championship title by three shots.
The win was the second this year for the talented girl from Cary and her second day finish of three birdies in her last five holes really sealed the tournament for her getting her to one under par and a two day total of 141.

Precision Golf School’s girls had another strong showing in the state high school tournaments Monday and Tuesday.
PGS Junior of the Year Katherine Perry won the 4-A state tournament with rounds of 73-71. Her two under par round at Foxfire C.C. was strong enough to lead her team Athen’s Drive to the state title.

The 7th Annual Precision Golf Junior Girls’ Championships is in the books and 2 new champions have been crowned. The 2-day event at Bryan Park featured 58 junior girls, ages 12 - 18, from throughout the region.
