Precision students Andy Knox and Payne McCleod battled for the NC Junior Championship today. Andy, who finished 2nd last year, has been on a terrific roll this spring and summer. Andy won the NC High School Invitational, the Rex Jr, which qualified him for the Rex nationwide tournament, and now he adds the NC Junior.
Precision Students now have won back to back NC Junior Championships, with Justin Clement claiming the title in 2008. Results can be found at www.carolinasgolf.org.

Precision students Payne McCleod and Andy Knox advanced to the quarter-finals in the NC Junior played at Henderson CC. The quarter-finals and semi finals are tomorrow with the finals being scheduled for Saturday.

Precision Golf Student and UNCG verball committee Andy Knox of Cary, NC claimed the Rex Junior Invitational Championship at the TPC of Wakefield this past Sunday. Andy fired a 2 under par 69 to best the strong junior field and claiming the coveted Nationwide Tour exemption to the Rex Open this weekend.

Third time was the charm as Ravenscroft School in Raleigh captured the 3rd NC High School Invitational hosted the Treyburn CC in Durham, NC. Ravenscroft, the 2008 NCISAA 3A champions, out paced the field by 15 shots. Green Hope HS of Cary finished second place while Arendell Parrott Academy of Kinston finished alone in third place. Ravenscroft was led by senior Bo Andrews who finished with a one under par 71 on the 6920 yard par 72 course.
