The Vines capture J.P. Looneys Parent Child Tour victory with a 72!
Winston - Salem - The J.P. Looneys Parent Child Tour was at Tanglwood Park this Sunday June 14th for their seventh event of the year.
The event was home of the 2008 Club cup champions!
At the end of the rounds, it was Michael & Jonathan Vine from Sedgefield GC that emerged as winners firing a round of 72.
It was a nostalgic win for the Vines as it brought them back to when they had first played the tour.
Following the Vines were the Pleasant Ridge GC contigents of Scott & Troy Campbell and Grant & Anthony Powell who fired equal rounds of 73 and Ted and Samantha Bonham of Bryan Park GC with a 75.
The division winners were Ted and Samantha Bonham (ADULT) 75, Michael & Jonathan Vine (15 - 17), Benjamin & Cowan Griffin (12 - 14) 76, Campbell & Powell (9 - 11) 73’s, and Holcomb (8 & under — 9 holes) 41.
The tours next event will be in two weeks at Reynolds Park GC
