Greensboro, NC. – August, 2010 – The Mike Goodes and Friends Charity Classic Pro Am is scheduled for Monday, September 27th. Building on the momentum of eight Champions Tour players joining the Charity Classic Pro Am this year, corporate sponsors have signed on to help the Triad Youth Golf Foundation’s initiative to support youth golf development in the community. Bruce Vaughan, winner of the 2008 Senior British Open, recently joins Mike Goodes and six other Champions Tour Professionals for this year’s event.

The next Looney’s event is this Sunday, the Tour Championship at Little River Resort. Play will be a Shotgun Start at 12:30 PM followed by a cook-out and awards ceremony.
PRACTICE ROUND / LODGING OPTION: Each team in the Championship is invited to stay the weekend and have a practice round on Saturday. We will also have a cookout Saturday night. Greensboro, NC— The final round of the Precision Junior Girls Championship finished up yesterday at Bryan Park GC. The Championship marked the third and final major of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour determining official 2010 Order of Merit rankings and PKB Fall Invitational honors.

Concord, NC – The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour hosted their nineteenth event this Tuesday at Cabarrus CC for the Cabarrus Open.
The weather was hot and so was the score of Madison Kennedy of Salisbury, NC as she coasted to a four shot victory over Libby Crawford of Chapin, SC.
The win marked Kennedy’s second PKB win with the first coming at Rock Barn Golf and Spa earlier this summer.

Greensboro, NC. – July, 2010 – Triad Youth Golf Foundation is holding their 9th Annual Charity Classic Pro Am on Monday, September 27th at the Bryan Park Golf and Conference Center. The Charity Classic Pro Am supports TYGF’s mission to grow local youth golf initiatives. The event will specifically benefit the Mike Goodes Scholarship Fund. The fund will lend a helping hand to aspiring young golfers who demonstrate dedication and passion in developing their skills.
